We turn 7: the birthday that made history
On the 23rd of June we turned 7. And without exaggerating one bit: we made history.
It wasn’t just any birthday. It was, by far, the best birthday-with-a-launch of our lives.
And like everything that matters at Labienhecha, we lived it with you on the other side.
What happened on 23/6
- An epic VIP access.
- A sales record that left us shaking.
- A live with more than 60,000 people at the same time.
- And the birth of Alma, our most special bag.
Writing this still feels unreal. Seven years ago we were a slightly stubborn idea in a small workshop in Málaga. On the 23rd of June 2026 we were 60,000 people celebrating the same thing together.
Seven years making things well
It hasn’t been a straight road. We’ve grown, we’ve got it wrong, we’ve discarded, we’ve even stopped and started over. But we haven’t lost the only thing that matters: the judgment, the hands, and a community that decides alongside us and doesn’t leave.
Seven years on we’re still in Málaga, still betting on vegetable-tanned leather and still making less, but better.
And at the centre, Alma
For a birthday like this, no ordinary bag would do. We released Alma: the rebirth of the very first bag that Ire, our founder, ever imagined and made in her life, reinterpreted after years in the workshop.
Going back to the beginning with everything we’ve learned. We couldn’t think of a better way to blow out seven candles. We tell you its story here.
