This is the kind of news nobody enjoys giving. In fact, we've been putting this message off for a long time. Roughly as long as we've been putting off the decision.
But we've spent seven years telling you how every single thing gets made in here, and it doesn't feel right to do it any other way now.
So here it is, in full: what's going to happen, when and why.

And one thing we want to say, because it's the truth: we weren't going to do it.
June's birthday campaign was a huge success and this wasn't really called for.
But we've thought about it and we've said yes. Out of respect for everyone this little rise might affect. And for everyone who had something in mind there, waiting for the right moment.
There'll be bags, there'll be accessories, and there'll be some pieces saying goodbye for good. On those, the discount goes much further.

CHAPTER II - PRICE RISE
THE CHANGE
SATURDAY 1 AUGUST. PRICES GO UP.
A decision that may feel uncomfortable, but one we're taking consciously.
We have to be the first ones to put a value on the work we do: how we make things. The quality we're offering. The human service that defines us. If you think about it, what we offer here is the best.
We've looked after you so much, always. We've spoilt you rotten and we want to carry on doing it, because the Labienhecha community and its customers are everything.
But we've realised we also have to look after ourselves. The product. The project. And the Labienhecha of ten years from now.
IF THERE'S ONE THING WE'RE SURE OF HERE, IT'S THAT WE'RE NOT GIVING UP THIS BEAUTIFUL WAY WE HAVE OF DOING THINGS. We're not going to sacrifice processes, materials or finishes for cheaper ones. Quite the opposite: we're improving every one of them.
In the end, the workshop has paid for a lot of it. Years of discounts, of birthdays, of "go on then, this time too". Every one of them came from somewhere, and that somewhere was always the same. Us. The hours of the women who sew. The margin. The cushion.
We love looking after you. What we don't want is to keep doing it at the cost of putting at risk the very thing that makes Labienhecha possible.

WHY HAVEN'T WE DONE IT SOONER?
This should have happened back in January.
We didn't do it. We kept leaving it for later, month after month, because it was hard. As long as we could absorb it internally, we preferred to carry it ourselves rather than make the decision.
In the end we held out seven months longer than we should have.
And we're telling you because it's part of the same truth as everything else.

We already have the colours you chose.
Now it's time to get everything ready: the leathers, the samples, and being able to show them to you the way they deserve.
There'll be very few units, delivered this same summer.

On Saturday the 1st you'll see the new price, with nothing crossed out. We're not going to show you as a discount a price we've never charged.
Your price is the one on the day you pay. It never changes retroactively.

What changes is the starting point. From Saturday the 1st, everything will be based on the new price. That's why this Friday is the last one with the prices of this chapter.
