This wasn't in the plans: how the bouquets came about
This wasn't in the plans. It never even crossed my mind. It was going to be a normal day… until it happened.
It made no noise, but it changed everything. It was like a flash. The kind that arrives without warning.
It wasn't an idea. It was a silent obsession.
It wasn't an idea, no. It was more of a feeling. Like a silent obsession, the kind that won't leave you in peace. You don't quite know what it is… but you know it has to exist. And you feel you have to make it real.
Because when something lights up inside you, you have to follow it. If you don't, it goes out. It wilts. Like flowers: they come… and they go.
But this time it was different. It was something already inside. Already there. Not in a plan or a strategy, but in the everyday. In what you dare to transform.
And right at the worst moment
We were coming off the workshop move and these days it's all problems. The kind where nothing goes right. And there, in the middle of the chaos, I got the urge to start making flowers. With my hands. Almost as therapy. Without thinking of selling them or anything.
And maybe they're not perfect. But they're very real. And they can be moulded —like ideas, like everything worthwhile—: they're built, they adapt, they're reinterpreted.
Inspiration doesn't come down from the sky
Because I've realised one thing: inspiration isn't magic. It's not something that comes down from the sky. It's something that rises from the process. It's attention. It's presence. It's being far enough inside… to start seeing outside.
And it's not the start: it's what happens once you've already begun. The more you look, the more you make, the more it appears.
That's why I no longer wait for it. You don't need inspiration to begin. You need to begin to get inspired.
And out of that… came some flowers
I recorded a video almost without thinking and shared it. And something I didn't expect is happening: you're loving it. You're asking me about some flowers that aren't even for sale.
I still don't know if this will go anywhere. But I felt like telling you, because from those things you carry inside and insist on bringing out —right when everything looks worst— sometimes the best comes out.
I'll keep you posted.
🎥 Oh! The video is here
