Hi! This is María and today I'm here to tell you about the first Coterie of Labienhecha (because I was there and because it was an amazing experience).
For all of you who doesn't know me: I came to Labienhecha some months ago and, even if I could tell you how cool was to organize this event "from the inside", I'm going to tell you how it was "from the outisde", hehe.
I know that many of you really wanted to know more about The Club and to be in The I Coterie of Labienhecha, and that because of one reason or another, you couldn't.
We missed a lot of people who is part of The Club and who couldn't came (we'll try to organize the next one with more time). And a lot of people wanted to be in too, but vacancies are close so far.

The truth is that the first coterie won't happen again, but you'll be able to feel through me what we all the assistants lived.
It was almost seven o'clock and Irene just sent the invitation for the meeting. In that moment, I was kind of nervous because, even if she knew everything we would discuss, you can't avoid that feeling when you see someone you love and admire with shiny eyes and a smile that talks by itself. And yes, I'm talking about Irene, the first person I saw when logging in.
She says she was nervous, but I think she wasn't, because the only thing you could see what the excitement because finally, this space for us became true.
Minutes kept running and we were missing some people but this, our dear Bienhechxs, was just the beginning.
It was a strong beginning...hehe...
Irene was talking about materials (and I really wanted her to introduce my favourite one...) and finally it came ;)
To be honest, I felt kind of shy —well, I think everybody was— but it was amazing to participate, give our opinion and vote some important decisions. It's so cool to make them with the whole (great) team!
AND WOW....A GREAT MOMENT CAME AND I THOUGHT: ARE SHE GOING TO DO WHAT I'M THINKING?
Yes, she was doing it. She was there trying to slit one of the material samples with a knife (and kind of hard, hehe).
After that, it seems it wasn't enough for her and she just burnt one of the samples of the new bio-material.
UNBELIEVABLE
I can't tell what happened after those tries, because what happens in The Coterie, remain in The Coterie, but I was speechless.
In fact, the debate that came about one of the suggestions was so cool (thank you to the assistant for giving her opinion and cooperate, because it was amazing).
The best part came when Irene introduce the sketches of the new designs and, to be honest, I wanted for all the proposals to get prototyped becase I love them so much.
AND...BOOM!
We decided together that all the new designs were amazing... and that we didn't want to miss them in the workshop. So Irene promised that they would prototype all of them and would show them in the next coterie (for the first time!)
Honestly, I have to say that I enjoy it so much. It's amazing to be able to share this process with people who feel the same excitement.
I can't wait for the next one and I hope you can be part of this, because I'm completely sure you would love it so much.
